Free Dinner for College Students
Beginning in April, St. George's presents Film & Faith; led by Dr. Stanley Stewart. A series of films will be shown once a month on every 4th Wednesday after the Karma suppers. The first film will be "Maria Full of Grace", on April 24, 2013, beginning at 6:00 pm after supper. A discussion follows the film. The second in the series is entitled, "Life of Pi", which will be shown on May 22, 2013.
At the February 20th soup supper, we discussed the Karma ministry and what we could do to make it more viable to serve our St. George's membership and the community around us. One of the tools that is available to organizations these days is a free website called Meal Train, that enables organizations to set up a profile of meals that are needed, likes and dislikes, number of family members and a calendar to sign up for providing meals. This Sunday, in your bulletin there will be a flyer about Meal Train. We ask that you read the information, and explore the website. When a need for meals arises within our community, you will receive an email from the Karma Ministry requesting assistance, with information about logging on to Meal Train to schedule a meal delivery for those in need. More information will follow as the Karma Ministry becomes more active. Please go to this link www.mealTrain.com.
